Tournament Info

Players Withdrawing from Tournament
To officially withdraw from the tournament, players must notify the Tournament Director via email at [email protected]. Failure to do so, resulting in a “No Show,” will lead to forfeiture of future tournament privileges and an “NS” designation in our media records. Withdrawals made on or before May 15th will receive a refund of tournament fees minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals on or after May 16th.

Starting Times
Daily tournament starting times will be posted online at therrac.com, golfgenius.com, and at the Moorhead Country Club Golf Shop. The Golf Shop will remain open until 8:00p.m. for starting time information and can be reached at (218)-236-0100 ext. 1.

Format
The format is 54 holes of stroke play. The trophy presentation will be at approximately 5:00 pm on day three of the tournament. Golfers who made the cut and played on day three of the prior year’s tournament (Top 55 and ties) will receive early registration privileges for the following year’s Red River Amateur Championship.

Prizes
Gift certificates will be awarded to all day three participants. Those who compete on day three will also receive early registration privileges for the following year’s Red River Amateur Championship. The champion’s name will be engraved on the RRAC perpetual trophy.

Dress Code
Proper golf attire will be required. All players must have a shirt with a collar paired with golf shorts or pants. Cargo shorts are not allowed.

Practice Areas
The driving range and short game practice areas will open one hour prior to the first starting time. Please check in with the Range Attendant prior to hitting balls.

Club Amenities
The Clubhouse and Alley will be open for participants and their families to use on a cash or credit card basis.

Lunch
Lunch will be served daily to all contestants during or after their competitive rounds. Each player will be given a lunch ticket that can be redeemed at “The Alley” located in the middle of holes 11-12-13-14. Spectators are welcome to eat lunch in our Clubhouse Lounge using cash or credit card.

Announcement
During this event, there will be NO public address system used to call players to the tee. All players are advised and responsible to check-in with the starter at their assigned tee (ready to play) at least 10 minutes prior to tee time.

Unbecoming Conduct
Unbecoming conduct is, but not limited to: profanity, throwing equipment in anger, destruction of club property, vulgar or physical abuse to any person. A player who is in violation may receive one warning from a specified rules official. A second violation will result in disqualification of the player.

College Game Day 1st Round
The Red River Amateur Championship Committee has deemed the 1st round as College Game Day! We request that all players wear their college colors. Support your school and show-off your college pride!

Caddies & Carts

Caddies are permitted
Electronic Measuring Devices are permissible during competitive rounds.

Push carts are also permitted, however, please note that Moorhead Country Club has a very limited supply. All competitors must walk during competitive rounds and golf bags may not be on electric carts at any time. Only Rules Officials have the authority to offer transportation during competitive rounds.

Spectators must remain a reasonable distance away from the competitors at all times. It is the responsibility of the player to police his or her family/friends spectating during the event. Rules Officials will be closely monitoring this and can assess penalties to players if issues arise.

Round 2 begins 7:30 am

Sunday – June 22:
Round 3 begins 7:30 am; Trophy presentation 5:00 pm
