Ben Welle from Moorhead, MN won the 2024 Red River Amateur Championship by four strokes over Jake Birdwell from Blaine, MN. Ben was the leader for all three rounds and shot -10, 203. Welle shot a 67 in round 1 which gave him a share of the lead heading into the second day. Round 2 he shot another smooth 67 and closed out the weekend with a 69. Ben was so fun to watch, especially during the final round when he holed out from 90 yards on hole 11!
2024 Red River Amateur Women’s Champion
Isabelle Lynch
Isabelle Lynch from Bloomington, MN won the 2024 Red River Amateur Women’s Championship by 6 strokes over Piper Stubbs from Beaumaris, Australia. Isabelle started the final round two shots back of the lead. With the help of birdies on hole 2 and hole 4, she grabbed a share of the lead and never looked back. Isabelle shot an even par 72 to win the tournament! Isabelle shot 75-74-72 on her way to the championship.
